Our partners at Citizen Advocates, Inc. and 3d Development Group LLC celebrated the completion and opening of the four story Harison Place, a mixed-use and new affordable housing development in Malone, NY!
After 6 years of dedication and hard work, 40 new apartments and a commercial space are officially open as partners, residents, community members and government officials -- including Governor Kathy Hochul -- came together to celebrate the grand occasion. Of the units, 20 are set aside with on-site supportive services for those in need.
Within the last several years, New York State Homes & Community Renewal, the State's affordable housing agency, has worked to create and preserve affordable homes in the area, including the new Harison Place, which was built on the site of a former fire-damaged structure next to unused buildings.
