Congratulations to our partners at Abbey Road, Penny Lane Centers, and Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) on the grand opening of Imagine Village II in LA! NEF's very own Debbie Burkart attended and spoke at the celebration in addition to community leaders and stakeholders.
Imagine Village II is an 80-unit new construction affordable housing development with 78 homes for low-income households earning 30-60% of the area median income (AMI). Of these units, 42 are reserved for Transition-Aged Youth (TAY) and individuals and families affected by homelessness and mental illness. The three-story building has community rooms, onsite parking, laundry facilities, a computer lab and supportive service offices provided by Penny Lane Centers. Residents can also participate in a variety of on-site offerings including case management, financial literacy programs, parenting workshops, youth programs, and more!
