Congratulations to our partners at Genesis Companies, LLC, The Metro Company, LLC and East Orange Housing Authority (EOHA) on the grand opening of the Ted R. Green Senior Residences in East Orange, NJ!
Named after East Orange Mayor Ted R. Green, this incredible new affordable housing development brings 60 high-quality homes to seniors in the area. Of the 60 units, 15 are set aside for seniors who were formerly homeless.
The development also acts as supportive housing for seniors who need essential services to help enhance their quality of life in a safe space that emphasizes community pride. Mayor Green, a long-time advocate of safe and stable affordable housing, is also a former member of the EOHA Board and noted that having such an important development named after him was an extremely humbling experience.
