Thanks to the partnership between Over-the-Rhine Community Housing (OTRCH), Urban Sites, and Fifth Third Bank on The Barrister, Cincinnati's Central Business District has new affordable housing for the first time in over twenty years!
The Barrister is an adaptive reuse of two vacant, historic buildings that were mainly used as office space and constructed in the late 19th century. The apartment complex brings 44 homes to people and families earning 30-60% of the area median income (AMI), offers easy access to transportation, entertainment, and shopping, and OTRCH provides an off-site resident service coordinator for this development.
